So now that my six week summer prep series is over I'm going back to a good ol' fashioned weekly obsession list. So here are the random 5 things I kinda went crazy over this week.

The Kid's Birthdays

So in case you haven't realized yet I'm always obsessed with my niece & nephew but it really reached a crescendo because they both have their birthdays the same week & they just turned 6 & 8! I can't even believe how fast time is flying by!

Nautical Wrapping Paper

And fun fact my sister had her son on her own birthday! And this year my parents were away for Mother's Day so over the Memorial Day weekend we celebrated not only the three birthdays but the moms in my family too. So of course I had to take this as an opportunity to get some fun wrapping paper - what do you think... just perfect or did I go a little overboard?

Octopus Cell Phone Case

C'mon... am I the only one who switches out their cell phone for the seasons?! Uhm I probably am... if I'm not let me know in the comments & make me feel a little better about my craziness.

Sweet Tea Vodka & Lemonade

Spending the holiday weekend by the pool resurrected my love of sweet tea vodka & lemonade. It's actually the most refreshing summer drink I can think of.

Caprese Orzo Salad

This side dish - along with a big ass tomato pie - were my only food contributions to the holiday weekend. It was so light & yummy. Who doesn't love the combination of mozzarella, tomato & basil?! And the addition of the orzo makes it a little more filling.
