It's getting to the point where if you follow along regularly you know what this is all about. It's that time of the week where I get to pretend like I'm Andy Cohen & make myself believe anyone actually cares what I'm into this week. So now that you guys are familiar with the drill here it goes.
PRIDE MONTH
In case you're living under a rock then you know June is pride month & a reason to celebrate in the LGBTQ community. There are all sorts of official events held around the globe & I'll be celebrating at the Philly Pride parade & all sorts of parties this upcoming weekend!
POSE
Pose is the new FX series from Ryan Murphy which debuts in perfect time for pride month. The show gets to boast the largest ever cast of transgender actors & the largest recurring cast of LGBTQ actors. But all that aside the show is amaaaaazing! I've only actually seen the first episode so far but I'm already hooked!
H&M AVIATORS
Of course I have a collection of designer sunglasses but I've learned my lesson one time too many by wearing them in the pool or ocean & losing or ruining them. So I reserve them for dress. I've actually discovered the world of H&M aviators - they fit perfect & are only $10. This way I can buy 10 pairs & if I lose or break them all by the end of the summer I'm OK with that!
PEONIES
If you've been following along on Insta you'll see I've used peonies in undoes quite frequently lately & I just cut about four vases to put all around my house from my yard. I LOVE them - my only complaint is that I with they would last longer!
SETH GODIN
I recently asked for book recommendation on instastories & Koi from @thegentwithin introduced me to Seth Godin. Where has he been all my life?! I already listened to two on audible & am obsessed - especially with "Tribes - We Need You to Lead Us." If you have any interest in this type of book - specifically about leadership & marketing in the digital age - then this is the man for you.
So there you have it.
What do you think of my weekly obsessions & what is it that you're especially into this week?
Cheers - Hal
